Dutch Upon entering Hotel Delft A4, you immediately notice that the youngest hotel guests are also taken into consideration. At the kids check-in, children can check in themselves and receive a cheerful Timo Toucan bag, including a coloring picture. That's already a good start. Near the reception, you'll also find a children's toilet with the theme 'the most beautiful fish in the sea.' In the room, another surprise awaits: a Twiggy or Timo Toucan plush toy, which they can of course later take home. The family room with a bunk bed is ideal; cozy sleeping together, yet with some privacy thanks to the door that can be closed.
QUALITYTIME
In the atmospheric restaurant VdV Dining, you can enjoy delicious lunches and dinners. There is deliberately no play area, so the focus is on eating together and having a nice chat. The children can, of course, also play old-school games at the table with their parents. For the little ones, there is a Timo Toucan play box, while older children can have fun with the LEGO box, the Toucan chats, or the Hotel Delft A4 dice game. This way, you can enjoy quality time with the whole family.

PIECE OF HISTORY
The historic city of Delft is a fifteen-minute drive by car, and it's also a pleasant distance by bike, chopper, or e-bike, which you can rent at the reception. At the Royal Delft Museum, you can go on scavenger hunts and paint your own tile. Or climb the New Church together for a beautiful view, where William of Orange is buried. In Museum Prinsenhof, you can still see the bullet holes in the wall that killed him there. This way, you also take a piece of Dutch history with you during your weekend getaway. Starting January 2026, you can also visit the new Prinsentheater in Delft for "Willem van Oranje, The Musical," an impressive performance about freedom and the origin of the Netherlands. Don't forget to walk through the most beautiful alley in Delft, the Bonte Ossteeg. Here you'll find a large Delft blue mural with important Delft figures from history, such as Johannes Vermeer and Hugo de Groot. At the Beestenmarkt, you'll find café Kobus Kuch for the most delicious apple pie. Want to get out of the city for a bit? With tram 1, you're quickly in Scheveningen; visit LEGOLAND and then enjoy a refreshing walk on the beach.
BETWEEN CITY AND NATURE
After a day out, you can relax in the hotel bar with a good glass of wine and a generous snack platter. The next morning, a lavish breakfast awaits you, including French toast and pancakes. After all, it’s a mini-vacation! On the breakfast buffet, you will also find honey from bees in the hotel's own garden. This garden is carefully designed with an eye for biodiversity. Various flowers, plants, and tree species grow there, so insects and birds feel at home. The garden perfectly matches the surroundings. The hotel is located in Midden Delfland; a relatively unknown but particularly green area in the Randstad. From the hotel, you can easily walk or cycle into nature. Also fun: by bike, you can reach the smallest village in the Netherlands, 't Woudt, in eight minutes. Here, you'll find a cozy tea house and an adventurous Barefoot Path. This way, your family will experience an unforgettable weekend away with a perfect mix of city, culture, and nature.
