Summer bar at Keerdok: the perfect place for relaxation and events
During the summer months, Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen opens an exclusive summer bar next to the popular Zuiderterras at the Keerdok. This atmospheric pop-up bar is located right by the water and offers a beautiful view of the swimming area of the City of Mechelen, where recreational and sportive open water swimming is possible.

With a relaxed beach atmosphere, feet in the sand, and a selection of refreshing drinks, this is the ideal location to enjoy long summer evenings. The summer bar is open from Thursday to Saturday from 16:00 to 22:00 and on Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00. In good weather, the bar may also remain open in September.
The setting is excellent for (corporate) events for up to approximately 70 people, with options for custom catering, a unique ambiance, and easy accessibility. Parking is convenient at Parking Keerdok, but the location is also easily accessible by bicycle.
